England Netball Premier League
The England Netball Premier League is a netball league in England and the highest level of club/amateur netball in the country. The teams that make up the three divisions have come through the county, regional and national pathway to take one of the 30 places. The league was founded at the start of the 2006/07 season, as a replacement for the National Clubs League. National Clubs League
The National Clubs League was a netball league in England. The league was established at the start of the 1992/1993 season, as the first national netball league in England. Previously, clubs had competed in local leagues, and in the annual National Clubs Tournament, a knock-out event. The league was established with two divisions of eight teams, the first division consisting of the quarter-finalists from the 1992 National Clubs Tournament, and the second division consisting of the other teams which reached the last 16 in that tournament. The division 1 teams were: Academy, Aquila, BICC, Harborne, Henley, Linden, New Cambell, and Toucans. The division 2 teams were: Hertford Hornets, Kestrels, OPA, Tongham, Vauxhall Golds, Weston Park, and Wyvern. The 1992/93 first division was won by Linden. Netball Superleague
The Netball Super League is an elite netball league in the United Kingdom. The league is organised by England Netball but features teams based in Netball in England, England, Netball in Wales, Wales and previously Netball in Scotland, Scotland. The Super League commenced at the 2005–06 Netball Superleague season, 2005–06 season, replacing the AENA Super Cup, Super Cup as the elite netball competition in England. From 2016 Netball Superleague season, 2016-21 the league was Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by VitalityHealth and, as a result, Naming rights, known as the Vitality Netball Super League. Team Bath (netball)
Team Bath is an English netball team based at the University of Bath. In 2005–06 they were both founder members and the inaugural champions of the Super League. They were Super League champions again in 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10 and 2013, and British Fast5 All-Stars Champions in 2021. In 2023, England Netball announced plans to relaunch the Netball Super League in 2025, with an aim to professionalise the league. During the tender process, the new operating standards for clubs made it unfeasible for Team Bath's senior team to participate in the league and it was disbanded after the 2024 season. The English Institute of Sport is a multi-sport facility in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. The facility designed by FaulknerBrowns Architects was opened in December 2003 at a cost of £24 million. Worcester Arena
The University of Worcester Arena, commonly referred to as Worcester Arena, is a multi-purpose sports venue and events arena in Worcester, England. The 2,000-seat capacity venue opened in April 2013 and is the home arena of Worcester Wolves basketball team, whilst also being a national centre of excellence for disability sports.
