The sculpture of Emperors Yan and Huang is a monument in China that was carved from a mountain on the Yellow River. The overall monument height is ; a 55-meter base platform with 51-meter busts on top. They depict the two mythical emperors known as Yan Emperor (Yandi) and Yellow Emperor (Huangdi). The construction lasted 20 years and was completed in 2007, at a cost of US$22.5 million. They are located in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, People's Republic of China. Yan Huang Zisun (), or descendants of Yan and Yellow Emperors, is a term that represents the Chinese people and refers to an ethnocultural identity based on a common ancestry associated with a mythological origin. This term is connected to Yan Emperor (, Yandi) and Yellow Emperor (, Huangdi), in which both figures are considered the legendary ancestors of the Huaxia people who themselves are ancestral to the Han people (see Yanhuang). The term most specifically refers to the Han ethnic group, as it does not include groups who do not share the legendary ancestors.
