Steffen Seibert
Steffen Rüdiger Seibert (born 7 June 1960 in Munich) is a German journalist who served as head of the German Federal Government's Press and Information Office and as the German government's spokesperson from 2010 to 2021. During his tenure, Seibert was officially ranked as a Secretary of State. From late 2016 Seibert was a member of the German government's cabinet committee on Brexit at which ministers discuss organizational and structural issues related to the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union. Previously Seibert worked for the German television station ZDF as a journalist and presenter of the popular '' heute-journal'' (until 2010). A diplomatic mission or foreign mission is a group of people from a state or organization present in another state to represent the sending state or organization officially in the receiving or host state. A consulate is the office of a consul. Military Attaché
A military attaché is a military expert who is attached to a diplomatic mission, often an embassy. This type of attaché post is normally filled by a high-ranking military officer, who retains a commission while serving with an embassy. Opportunities sometimes arise for service in the field with military forces of another sovereign state. The attache has the privileges of a foreign diplomat. Rolf Friedemann Pauls
Rolf Friedemann Pauls (26 August 1915 – 4 May 2002) was a German diplomat. He was the first ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Israel, from 1965 to 1968, and was German Ambassador to the United States from 1968 to 1973. Life Rolf Friedemann Pauls was born in 1915 in Eckartsberga the son of a Protestant clergyman. He graduated from the Naumburg Domgymnasium in 1934. He was a career officer in the infantry of the Wehrmacht. Due to a serious injury, suffered as a company commander in Russia, he lost his left arm. Before he received a General Staff Officer Course, in 1942, he was the military attaché in Ankara, Turkey. In 1944, he was on the staff of the 363rd Volksgrenadier Division. In December 1944, Paul was awarded the Knight's Cross. According to a later report of General Hans Speidel, Rolf Friedemann Pauls was in the plans to assassinate Hitler on 20 July 1944, and was only on the basis of silence by others that he escaped arrest. Otto Von Der Gablentz
Otto Martin von der Gablentz (Berlin, 9 October 1930 – Amsterdam, 13 July 2007) was a German diplomat. He was ambassador to the Netherlands between 1983 and 1990, ambassador to Israel from 1990 to 1993 and between 1993 and 1995 was ambassador to the Russian Federation. He served as Rector of the College of Europe from 1996 until 2001. He was born and studied law in Berlin, also studying in Freiburg. He studied at the College of Europe in 1953 and returned to his alma mater as an assistant in 1955 and 1956. He began his diplomatic career in 1959. As a diplomat, he served as the German ambassador to the Netherlands (1983–1990), Israel (1990–1993) and Russia (1993–1995). He was Rector of the College of Europe from 1996 until 2001. Susanne Wasum-Rainer (born 31 July 1956) is a former German diplomat who has been serving as Germany's Ambassador to Israel between 2018 and 2022.
