Branko Elsner
Branko Elsner (23 November 1929 – 17 November 2012) was a Slovenian association football, football manager and player, most known for being the manager of the Austrian national football team, Austria national team twice. Elsner had his first success as a football coach in his Slovenian homeland with NK Olimpija Ljubljana (defunct), Olimpija, whom he trained from 1964 to 1967. David Elsner
David Elsner (born March 22, 1992) is a German professional ice hockey right winger currently playing for 1. EV Weiden of the Oberliga. Playing career Born in Landshut, Germany, Elsner began his professional career with his hometown team the Landshut Cannibals. He was then drafted 194th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Elsner made his DEL debut for ERC Ingolstadt during the 2010-11 DEL season where he played three games and scored one goal. In 2011, Elsner moved to Canada to play in the Ontario Hockey League for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for one season before returning to Landshut the following year. On April 26, 2013, Elsner moved to the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers of the DEL. On May 18, 2015, Elsner returned to Ingolstadt. He would sign a further extension at Ingolstadt in 2016, 2017, and 2019. Gisela Elsner (2 May 1937 – 13 May 1992) was a German writer. She won the Prix Formentor in 1964 for her novel ''Die Riesenzwerge'' (''The Giant Dwarfs''). Early life Elsner was born in Nuremberg, Middle Franconia. She was born to a well-to-do family, and grew up with her sister, Heidi, and brother, Richard. Her father was a Director at Siemens. She graduated from a gymnasium in Nuremberg in 1957. In 1959, she went to Vienna to study philosophy, Germanic letters and drama. Career Elsner then lived as a freelance writer in various places: Lake Starnberg, Frankfurt, in Rome from 1963 to 1964, in London from 1964 to 1970, then in Paris, Hamburg, New York, and finally in Munich. Hannelore Elsner (; born Hannelore Elstner; 26 July 1942 – 21 April 2019) was a German actress with a long career in television and film. She first performed on stage in Munich, and later starred in popular films and television series such as ''Die Schwarzwaldklinik'' (''The Black Forest Clinic''), and as the lead character, Inspector Lea Sommer, in the series '' Die Kommissarin''. James Elsner
James Brian Elsner (born 1959) is an American atmospheric scientist, geographer, and applied statistician who has made substantial contributions to understanding of the spatial, temporal, and physical relationships of tropical cyclones and tornadoes, and the influence of climate change. Elsner earned a B.S. (1981), M.S. (1984), and Ph.D. (1988) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM). He joined the faculty of Florida State University (FSU) in 1990 as an assistant professor in the Department of Meteorology and moved to the Department of Geography in 1998 where he has held his current position as the Earl and Sophia Shaw Professor since 2008. Luka Elsner (born 2 August 1982) is a Slovenian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Ekstraklasa club Cracovia. Marko Elsner (11 April 196018 May 2020) was a Slovenian professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Born in Ljubljana, capital of SR Slovenia (then part of Yugoslavia), Elsner played for Wacker Innsbruck's youth team before returning to Ljubljana where he played with Slovan before joining Olimpija in 1977.
