Else-Marie Juul Hansen (19 October 1904, Copenhagen — 12 August 2003, Copenhagen) was a Danish actress and a particularly successful soprano operetta singer. Initially a dancer, she made her operetta debut in ''No, No, Nanette'' at Fønix-Teatret, Frederiksberg, in 1927. From the 1930s to the 1950s, she played leading operetta roles in various Copenhagen theatres, frequently performing with Hans Kurt Jensen. In addition to her many film roles, Hansen is remembered for playing Oda Holm in the popular Danish television series ''Matador'' (1978–81). Early life and education Born on 19 October 1904 in Copenhagen, Else-Marie Juul Hansen was the daughter of the prosperous shoemaker Hans Frederik Hansen (1875–1946) and his wife Maren Jensigne née Nielsen (1875–1951). Else Marie Jakobsen (28 February 1927 – 12 December 2012) was a Norwegian designer and textile artist. Biography Jakobsen was born and raised in Kristiansand, Norway. She graduated from Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (now Oslo National Academy of the Arts) in 1951. She also studied at a Gobelin tapestry workshop at Uitgeverij In de Knipscheer in the Netherlands during 1950. She was from 1951, both a designer and an artist in the textile industries, At the same time she began to make tapestries. Her debut exhibition was held at the Artists' Association (''Kunstnerforbundet'') at Oslo in 1966. In addition, she was active as a speaker across Norway and in other countries as well. As a textile artist, she won the decoration competition for the University of Bergen science building (90 square meters) as well as the Erkebispegården, Trondheim (30 square meters) and Kristiansand District Court.
