Baruch Elron
Baruch Elron () or Barbu Teodorescu (1934–2006) was an Israeli painter best known for his unique Fantastic Realist style rich in symbols and allegories. Early life and studies Baruch Elron (Barbu Teodorescu) was born in Bucharest, in a family of Sephardic Jews. Baruch Elron studied Painting at the Nicolae Grigorescu Fine Arts Academy in Bucharest. Among his teachers were Corneliu Baba, Alexandru Ciucurencu, Jean Alexandru Steriadi and Yosef Molnar. During his student years, Elron made several study trips to Moscow, Prague and Budapest where he spent his time in the museums, studying the great masters. In 1958, he was granted the Excellency Award at the International Art Fair of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A year later, in Moscow, he received the prize of the Moscow Youth Festival. Yosef Elron
Joseph Elron (, born 20 September 1955) is an Israeli judge who has served as a justice of the Supreme Court of Israel since 2017. Early life and education Elron was born in Haifa, the youngest of nine children born to Ovadia and Tzadika Alfarih, Iraqi Jewish immigrants to Israel originally from Mosul. After graduating from "Erev Hadash" high school in Haifa, he served in the Israel Defense Forces from 1973 to 1977. After being discharged in 1977 with the rank of lieutenant, he moved to the United Kingdom. He worked in various security organizations from 1977 to 1980 and studied law at the University of Buckingham. After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws in 1983, he returned to Israel, where he clerked in a law firm and the Haifa District Attorney's Office. He completed a Master of Arts in National Security Administration at the University of Haifa in 2001. Yoram Elron
Yoram Elron (; born 24 February 1960) is an Israeli diplomat who has been the Israeli Ambassador to Bulgaria from August 2019, until August 2023. Yoram Elron served in the IDF between 1978 and 1981, in the artillery corps as an NCO in the Northern Command as well as an instructor in the artillery main training base. Prior to joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked at the Government Press Office, as coordinator for foreign media. Before his appointment as Ambassador to Bulgaria, Yoram Elron held the position of Deputy Director General for Africa between 2015 and 2019. During his tenure, diplomatic relations between Israel and Chad were reestablished. AS Eesti Liinirongid, operating as Elron, is a government-owned passenger train operator in Estonia. Prior to 2014, the company operated exclusively the electrified commuter rail system in Harjumaa, and was known until October 2013 as ''Elektriraudtee'', i.e. "the Electrical Railway". On 1 January 2014, Elron took over all domestic passenger train services in Estonia from Edelaraudtee. History The company was founded as ''Elektriraudtee'' in 1998. While initially operating as a subsidiary of Eesti Raudtee, it was separated entirely within two years.
