Elmo's ABCs
''Elmo's ABCs'' is a 1999 educational Game Boy Color video game. It was released in March 1999 in North America. Like ''Elmo's 123s'', it was also released on April 6, 2001 in Europe. The game was made by NewKidCo. Plot The player must help Elmo with the letters by pressing the "A" button on the Game Boy Color, which can put a letter in a slot. Elmo can go faster, so the player would need to press faster. There are six stages. NewKidCo International Inc. ( TSE:NKC; OTC BB: NKCIF) was an American video game publisher of children's titles based on popular licensed characters, for Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft consoles. It went out of business in 2005. The publisher was acquired by Alpha Software which then was acquired by SoftQuad Software and subsequently, SoftQuad was renamed to NewKidCo. Initially NewKidCo had subsidiary offices in Burlington, Massachusetts and Midtown Manhattan, New York City. At a later point, it was headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, with its only office being there. NewKidCo had a partnership with Canadian animation studio CinéGroupe to make video games based on Tom and Jerry and Dora the Explorer. Circa 2003, two of NewKidCo's properties, Winnie the Pooh and Dora the Explorer, were sold to Gotham Games. Game Boy Color
The (commonly abbreviated as GBC) is a handheld game console, manufactured by Nintendo, which was released in Japan on October 21, 1998 and to international markets that November. It is the successor to the Game Boy and is part of the Game Boy product line. The GBC features a color screen rather than monochrome, but it is not backlit. It is slightly thicker and taller and features a slightly smaller screen than the Game Boy Pocket, its immediate predecessor in the Game Boy line. As with the original Game Boy, it has a custom 8-bit processor made by Sharp that is considered a hybrid between the Intel 8080 and the Zilog Z80. Single-player
A single-player video game is a video game where input from only one player is expected throughout the course of the gaming session. Elmo
Elmo is a red Muppet monster character on the long-running PBS/ HBO children's television show ''Sesame Street''. A furry red monster who has a falsetto voice and illeism, he hosts the last full five-minute segment (fifteen minutes prior to 2017) on ''Sesame Street'', " Elmo's World", which is aimed at toddlers. He was most often puppeteered by Kevin Clash, but since his resignation in late 2012, he has been puppeteered by Ryan Dillon.
