Ellingsrudåsen Station
Ellingsrudåsen is a subway station on the Oslo Metro, located at Ellingsrud in the Alna borough. Since its opening on 8 November 1981, it has been the end station for the Furuset Line (Line 2). Ellingsrudåsen is a mostly residential area. Above the station is a small shopping centre. Ellingsrud
Ellingsrud is a neighbourhood in the borough of Alna in the north-east part of Oslo, Norway. Ellingsrud consists of Ellingsrudåsen, Bakås, Fjeldstad, Karihaugen, Munkebekken, and the small area of Kaiekroken, located in the far east close to Furuset and Lindeberg. The population is approx. 7,000 people. Ellingsrud is located north of the recreational forest Østmarka. Most of Ellingsrud was built in the 1970s, and has two primary schools (Bakås and Ellingsrudåsen), and one lower secondary school (Ellingsrud). Ellingsrud church was opened in June 1981. Ellingsrud IL is a local sports club. Furuset Line
The Furuset Line () is a long line on the Oslo Metro between Hellerud (station), Hellerud and Ellingsrudåsen (station), Ellingsrudåsen in Oslo, Norway. Running mostly underground, it passes through the southern part of Groruddalen, serving neighborhoods in the boroughs of Alna and Furuset. The line is served by Line 2 of the metro with four or eight trains per hour. The line is owned by Kollektivtransportproduksjon and operated by Oslo T-banedrift on contract with Ruter using MX3000 trains. The section from Hellerud via Tveita (station), Tveita to Haugerud (station), Haugerud opened in 1970. Helsfyr is a subway station on the east side of the Oslo Metro system located in the borough of Helsfyr. The station is shared by the Furuset Line (Line 2), the Østensjø Line (Line 3) and the Lambertseter Line (Lines 1 and 4). Line 1 terminates at Helsfyr during weekends, late evenings, and vacations. Sporveien Oslo AS is a municipally owned public transport operator in Oslo, Norway. It operates the trackage and maintains the stock of the Oslo Metro and Oslo Tramway.
