Louise Jane Miller-Frost ( Miller) is an Australian politician elected to represent the division of Boothby in the 2022 Australian federal election. She is a member of the Australian Labor Party. Early life Miller-Frost was born in Hollywood, Worcestershire, England, and was 18 months old when her family migrated to Adelaide in 1968. She attended Para Hills East Infant School and Primary School, The Heights High School, Banksia Park High School and Seymour College. Her father died unexpectedly when she was thirteen years old. Miller-Frost was the first in her family to attend university, completing an undergraduate Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of South Australia, then going on to complete a Master of Arts and Master of Business Administration at UNISA, and a Master of Public Health at Adelaide University. Nicolle Flint
Nicolle Jane Flint (born 15 July 1978) is an Australian politician. She was the member for Boothby in South Australia in the Australian House of Representatives from 2016 to 2022. She is a member of the Liberal Party of Australia and succeeded the previous member, Andrew Southcott, at the 2016 federal election. Flint announced on 26 February 2021 that she would not contest the 2022 Australian federal election. She gave her valedictory speech on 16 February 2022. Early political involvement Flint was a member of the Young Liberal Movement from 2000 to 2002 and joined the Liberal Party in 2007. She was a solicitor and newspaper columnist before entering politics, and also worked as an advisor to Malcolm Turnbull and Brendan Nelson. She also worked for the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Andrew John Southcott (born 15 October 1967) is an Australian politician and medical practitioner. He was the Liberal member for the House of Representatives seat of Boothby from the 1996 election until he stood down at the 2016 election. Early life Southcott was born in Panorama, South Australia, and attended Paringa Park Primary School, and St Peter's College. He studied medicine at University of Adelaide and was a medical practitioner before entering politics, serving as an intern and surgical trainee at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and as a surgical registrar at the Flinders Medical Centre and Repatriation General Hospital, Daw Park. While in office he has completed a Bachelor of Economics at Flinders University and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Adelaide. Steele Hall (Australian Politician)
Raymond Steele Hall (born 30 November 1928) is a former Australian politician who served as the 36th Premier of South Australia from 1968 to 1970. He also served in the federal Parliament as a senator for South Australia from 1974 to 1977 and federal member for the Division of Boothby from 1981 to 1996. Hall was a state parliamentarian from 1959 to 1974, serving as Liberal and Country League (LCL) leader from 1966 to 1972 and premier from 1968 to 1970. He introduced electoral reform, removing the Playmander which favoured the LCL, which contributed to his party's loss at the 1970 South Australian state election. In 1972 he founded the Liberal Movement (LM), and resigned from the LCL when the LM split from the LCL in 1973. He continued as a state parliamentarian until he resigned his seat in 1974 to be the LM's lead senate candidate at the 1974 Australian federal election.
