Cressida Clytie O'Hanlon (born 1972) is an Australian politician from the South Australian Labor Party, Labor Party. She has been a member of the South Australian House of Assembly since winning the 2024 Dunstan state by-election. She contested the same seat against Premier Steven Marshall in the 2022 South Australian state election, 2022 state election losing by 260 votes. Cressida previously owned her own corporate mediating business and also worked part-time as a staff member to Reggie Martin, Reggie Martin MLC. Kensington is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters council area. Unlike the rest of the city, Kensington's streets are laid out diagonally. River Torrens#Tributaries, Second Creek runs through and under part of the suburb, which contains many heritage buildings as well as Norwood Swimming Centre and several schools. History The stretch of Portrush Road alongside Kensington was originally known as Kensington Terrace. The village of Kensington was surveyed in November 1838 by J.H. Hughes, the first in the immediate area, and was named after Kensington Palace. The streets were laid out diagonally in order to minimise crossings of Second Creek, with the main streets, High Street and Regent Street, running parallel to the creek. Trinity Gardens is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. The name is taken from Holy Trinity Church on North Terrace, Adelaide, and was formerly known as Trinity Glebe. History On 28 March 1840 the trustees of Holy Trinity Church – Osmond Gilles, Charles Mann and James Hurtle Fisher – were given approximately of land in the area, as ''Glebe'' lands, by Pascoe St Leger Grenfell. The land came to be known as Trinity Glebe. From 1911, the trustees had wanted to sell the Trinity Glebe for housing. However, the terms of the trust deed forbade it and required an act of Parliament to alter. In 1920, the Parliament made the necessary amendment. The land was then immediately subdivided, named Trinity Gardens, and sold for housing by Wilkinson, Sando & Wyles Ltd, who promised to make "liberal provision in the way of space for tennis, bowls and croquet". Stepney is a small triangular near-city suburb of Adelaide within the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters. It is known for the historic Maid and Magpie Hotel, which is situated prominently between Magill and Payneham Roads at a large junction. St Peters is an inner-eastern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. The area was first settled in 1838, with allotments sold to investors in the South Australia Company. It was originally a separate town and was named after the Church of England's school of St Peter. The nearby school, now commonly known as St Peter's College, was relocated to its current site in 1854 on of land in what is now known as Hackney. St Peters Post Office opened on 1 November 1886. St Morris is a suburb of Adelaide, located in the local government area of the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. History ''North Norwood'' Post Office opened around 1886, was renamed ''Trinity Gardens'' in 1950 and ''St Morris'' in 1963 before closing in 1988. Maylands is a suburb of Adelaide located within the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters, and bounded by the main roads Portrush Road and Magill Road.
