Einar Ambt
Einar Ambt (22 March 1877, Copenhagen – 21 December 1928, Copenhagen) was a Danish architect. Early life and education Ambt was born on 22 March 1877 in Copenhagen, the son of Christian Ambt and Thekla Emilie Eleanor Mathilde Johnsen. His father served as City Engineer in Copenhagen from 1886 to 1902 and then as Director-General of the Danish State Railways until 1915. Ambt became a bricklayer in 1896 and simultaneously attended technical school. He was then accepted to the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, graduating as an architect in 1904. Career He worked for Danish architect Gotfred Tvede for six years and, at the insistence of his father, worked for Danish architect Heinrich Wenck on Copenhagen Central Station from 1904 to 1912. He started his own practice in 1912. Nykøbing Falster
Nykøbing Falster (; originally named Nykøbing) is a southern Danish city, seat of the Guldborgsund ''kommune''. It belongs to Region Sjælland. The city lies on Falster, connected by the Frederick IX Bridge over the Guldborgsund (''Guldborg Strait'') waterway to the island of Lolland. The town has a population of 16,911 (1 January 2022). Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality (occasionally spelled Lyngby-Tårbæk) is a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in the Capital Region of Denmark near Copenhagen on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand (Danish: ''Sjælland''). Nakskov
Nakskov is a town in south Denmark. It is situated in Lolland municipality in Region Sjælland on the western coast of the island of Lolland. The town has a population of 12,495 (1 January 2022). To the west is Nakskov Fjord, an inlet from the Langeland Belt (''Langelandsbælt'') that runs between the islands of Lolland and Langeland. Strandboulevarden (literally "Beach Boulevard") is a major street in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Fridtjof Nansens Plads as in the south to Østerbrogade in the north, linking Kristianiagade with Jagtvej. History Decided by the City Council in 1894 and opened in 1897, Strandboulevarden was founded in connection with the establishment of the Freeport of Copenhagen in the mid-1890s and the opening of the railway between Hellerup and Østerport which moved the coastline north of Copenhagen several hundred eastwards in the mid-1890s. The first section of the street, south of Nordre Frihavnegade, incorporated an existing street, Gefionsgade, slightly more narrow than the rest of the boulevard, which had been founded a few years earlier. Falkoner Alle ( lit. "Falconer Avenue") is one of the main streets of Frederiksberg in Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Frederiksberg Town Hall Square in the south to Ågade on the border with Nørrebro in the north, linking Allégade with Jagtvej. Faaborg or Fåborg () is an old port town located on Faaborg Fjord in Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality on the island of Funen in Denmark.
