Edwin Van Der Sar
Edwin van der Sar (; born 29 October 1970) is a Dutch association football, football executive and former professional player who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He was most recently the chief executive of AFC Ajax, Ajax, with whom he began his senior playing career in the early 1990s; he is considered to be a member of the club's golden generation and was part of the Ajax team that won the UEFA Champions League in 1995 UEFA Champions League Final, 1995. In 1999, he left Ajax for Juventus FC, Juventus where he spent two years before moving to England, first to Fulham F.C., Fulham and then to Manchester United F.C., Manchester United in 2005. Peter Bolesław Schmeichel (born 18 November 1963) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. During eight seasons at English club Manchester United, he won 15 trophies including five Premier League titles, three FA Cups and he captained the club to victory in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final to complete the Treble. The 1991–92 UEFA Cup was the 21st season of Europe's then-tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA. UEFA Club Football Awards
In recognition of the best players in the UEFA Champions League each year, UEFA gives out several awards to the most outstanding performers of the European club association football, football season. The awards are presented in August each year at a special gala in Monaco; previously, the ceremony would coincide with the UEFA Super Cup, but since the Super Cup was moved to early August in 2014, the UEFA awards ceremony has been combined with the UEFA Champions League group stage draw.
