Walid Eido
Walid Eido (; 2 April 1942 – 13 June 2007) was a member of the Current for the Future, Future Movement, Lebanese List of political parties in Lebanon, political movement and a member of the Lebanese Parliament. He was also a member of the March 14 Coalition. Early life and education Eido was born on 2 April 1942 to a Sunni Islam in Lebanon, Sunni Muslim family in the Bachoura neighborhood of Beirut. He graduated from Lebanese University with a degree in law in 1966, and became a magistrate in 1967. Career and activities Eido was a member of the Sunni Murabetoun militia during Lebanon's 1975-1990 Lebanese Civil War, civil war. In the late 1990s, he was north Lebanon's public prosecutor, but he had to resign for being able to go into politics and run for elections with Rafic Hariri. He was later named as President of the Beirut Court of Appeal, a role from which he resigned in 2000 to be a candidate to the parliamentary elections on the same year. Eddo Brandes
Eddo André Brandes (born 5 March 1963) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer who played in 10 Tests and 59 ODIs from 1987 to 1999, spanning four World Cups. In the days when a number of Zimbabwean players were amateurs with other full-time professions, Brandes was a chicken farmer. Brandes was the first Zimbabwean player to take a hat-trick in the ODI format. Early life Brandes was born on 5 March 1963, in Port Shepstone, Natal Province, South Africa. He was the son of a German father and a South African mother. He and his family moved to Rhodesia the year after he was born, and he grew up on a farming property. Mark Edmondson
Mark Edmondson (born 28 June 1954 in Gosford, New South Wales) is a retired Australian professional tennis player. Edmondson won the 1976 Australian Open while ranked 212th in the world, and remains the lowest-ranked winner of a Grand Slam tournament since the ATP rankings were introduced in 1973. He is the last Australian to date to win the men's singles at the Australian Open. Eddoe
Eddoe or eddo (''Colocasia antiquorum'') is a species in genus Colocasia, a tropical vegetable, closely related to taro (dasheen, ''Colocasia esculenta''), which is primarily used for its thickened stems (corms). In most cultivars there is an acrid taste that requires careful cooking. The young leaves can also be cooked and eaten, but (unlike taro) they have a somewhat acrid taste. Taxonomy Linnaeus originally described two species which are now known as ''Colocasia esculenta'' and ''Colocasia antiquorum'' of the cultivated plants that are known by many names including eddoes, dasheen, taro, but many later botanists consider them all to be members of a single, very variable species, the correct name for which is ''Colocasia esculenta''. Etymology The English word ''eddo'' may have its origin in Akan, from a form cognate with Twi ''o1de3'' "yam"; or Fante ''o1do3''.
