Eddie (book Series)
The Eddie series () is a book series written by Viveca Lärn (earlier Viveca Sundvall) about Eddie, a boy in early primary school. The books were originally published between 1991 and 2001, and make up a spin-off series set in the Mimmi universe. The books are told from a third-person perspective and the main character, Eddie, is the brother of Mimmi's friend Anders. Eddie's father is an alcoholic when the stories begin. In 1994, a television series based on the books and named '' Håll huvudet kallt'' was produced. It aired as Sveriges Television's Christmas calendar that year. Viveca Lärn, earlier Viveca Sundvall, (born 6 April 1944) is a Swedish writer in ''Vem är det: svensk biografisk handbok''. 1993, page 1054. and journalist. She is mostly famous for writing the Mimmi (book series), Mimmi and the Eddie (book series), Eddie children's books series. She has also written books for an adult audience, and many of those books formed the basis for the TV series ''Saltön''. Eddie och Maxon Jaxon is a 1992 children's book by Swedish writer Viveca Sundvall. The book is the first in the Eddie series, a spinoff set in the same universe as the Mimmi series. Eva Eriksson (illustrator)
Eva Eriksson, born on 13 May 1949 in Halmstad, Sweden is a Swedish illustrator and writer. She has illustrated several children's books by writers including Barbro Lindgren and Viveca Lärn. Some of her illustrated books have also been translated into the English language by Gecko Press and other publishers. She studied at Konstfack in Stockholm.
