Radio 92.9 EarthFest was a free music festival that features both national and local acts. The concert averages 125,000 people yearly, hosts 14 bands on 3 stages, and was the largest radio station "Earth" or "Green" related event in New England. The yearly festival stopped after 2016. The concert was created to demonstrate how everyday individuals can reduce their environmental impact. WBOS
WBOS (92.9 MHz, "Rock 92-9") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Brookline, Massachusetts, and serving Greater Boston. WBOS is owned and operated by Beasley Broadcast Group. Atlas Genius are an alternative rock band formed in Adelaide, South Australia in November 2009. The band's mainstay members are the Jeffery brothers, Keith on lead vocals and lead guitar; Michael on drums; and Darren Sell on keyboard. Third Eye Blind is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1993. After years of lineup changes in the early and mid-1990s, the songwriting duo of Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the band's first major-label recording contract with Elektra Records in 1996. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1997, with the band largely consisting of Jenkins (vocals, rhythm guitar), Cadogan (lead guitar), Arion Salazar (bass guitar), and Brad Hargreaves (drums). Shortly after the release of the band's second album in 1999, ''Blue'', with the same line-up, Cadogan was released from the band under controversial circumstances. Camper Van Beethoven is an American rock band formed in Redlands, California in 1983, later based in Santa Cruz and San Francisco. Their style mixes elements of pop, ska, punk rock, folk, alternative country, and world music. Fastball is an American rock band that formed in Austin, Texas in 1995. The band originally called themselves Magneto U.S.A. but changed their name after signing with Hollywood Records. Gentlemen Hall was an American indie pop band from Boston, Massachusetts. Morning Parade
Morning Parade was an English five-piece alternative rock band from Harlow, Essex that formed in 2007 before signing with Parlophone in 2010. Its self-titled debut album was released early in 2012. The line-up was composed of Steve Sparrow (lead vocals, piano and guitar), Phil Titus (bass), Chad Thomas (guitar), Ben Giddings (piano/synths), and Andrew Hayes (drums). The band broke up on 4 December 2014. Early days and formation Steve Sparrow and Phil Titus met as students at Burnt Mill Academy in Harlow. They later worked together as labourers. Steve then met Chad Thomas at Harlow College in 2003. Smallpools is an American indie pop band formed in 2013. The band consists of Sean Scanlon (vocals), Mike Kamerman (guitar), and Beau Kuther (drums). After their debut single " Dreaming" charted at number one on The Hype Machine, Smallpools' self-titled debut EP was released via RCA Records on July 16, 2013. History Mike Kamerman, from Marlboro, New Jersey and Sean Scanlon, from Verplanck, New York, had been playing in various bands since 2007. After relocating to Los Angeles to further their musical careers, they met Oregon natives Joe Intile and Beau Kuther.
