Empire (band)

With the exception of Airey and the new drummer André Hilgers, the line up of the band was identical to ''Trading Souls''. Hard rock or heavy rock is a heavier subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and Distortion (music), distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the Garage rock, garage, Psychedelic rock, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a Music genre, genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Neil Murray (British Musician)
Philip Neil Murray (born 27 August 1950) is a Scottish musician, best known as the former bassist of Whitesnake, the Brian May Band, Black Sabbath, and Gary Moore. Career Early days Originally a drummer who started playing bass in 1967, Murray formed his first band with school friends in 1967 (Slap Happy and the Dum-Dums). His musical tastes were heavily influenced by the mid-1960s 'blues boom' bands and musicians, especially Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce, and later by Motown legend James Jamerson and Tim Bogert of Vanilla Fudge, Cactus and Beck, Bogert & Appice. Douglas "Doogie" White (born 7 March 1960) is a Scottish rock vocalist who currently sings for La Paz. Lance King (born November 23, 1962) is an American heavy metal vocalist and songwriter known for his work in progressive and power metal. He has performed with bands including Balance of Power, Pyramaze, and Gemini, and founded Nightmare Records in 1990, which has released music of over 100 artists. Biography Lance King was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He began his music career in 1981 with the cover band Freelance out of South Eastern Minnesota, performing locally for five years. In 1990, he established Nightmare Records to release the debut album by his band Gemini, later expanding the label to support other artists. Donald Smith Airey (born 21 June 1948) is an English musician. He came to prominence as the keyboardist of the rock band Rainbow during 1979–1982. He has been the keyboardist of Deep Purple, the band from which Rainbow was a spinoff, since 2002, after the retirement of Jon Lord.
