Ea Ea
Craige Schensted (), who formally changed his name to Ea Ea, was an American physicist and mathematician who first formulated the insertion algorithm that defines the Robinson–Schensted correspondence. Under a different form, that correspondence had earlier been described by Gilbert de Beauregard Robinson in 1938, but it is due to the Schensted insertion algorithm that the correspondence has become widely known in combinatorics. Schensted also designed several board games including *Star, Star, and Y. In 1995, he changed his name to Ea, the Babylonian name for the Sumerian god Enki, interested in the god's creative and empathetic nature. This became Ea Ea in 1999, in anticipation of the millenium computer glitches. He lived for forty years on Peaks Island in Portland, Maine Portland is the List of municipalities in Maine, most populous city in the U.S. state of Maine and the county seat, seat of Cumberland County, Maine, Cumberland County. Intimin
Intimin is a virulence factor ( adhesin) of EPEC (''e.g.'' ''E. coli'' O127:H6) and EHEC (''e.g. E. coli'' O157:H7) '' E. coli'' strains. It is an attaching and effacing (A/E) protein, which with other virulence factors is necessary and responsible for enteropathogenic and enterohaemorrhagic diarrhoea. Intimin is expressed on the bacterial cell surface where it can bind to its receptor Tir (Translocated intimin receptor). Tir, and over 25 other bacterial proteins are secreted from attaching and effacing ''E. coli'' directly into the cytoplasm of intestinal epithelial cells by a Type three secretion system. Once within the cytoplasm of the host cell, Tir is inserted into the plasma membrane, allowing surface exposure and intimin binding. Tir-intimin interaction mediates tight binding of enteropathogenic and enterohaemorrhagic ''E.coli'' to the intestinal epithelia, resulting in the formation of effacing lesions on intestinal epithelia. The structure of the C-terminal T ...

Architectural Endoscopy
Architectural endoscopy or architectural envisioning is used to photograph and film models of new buildings' exterior and interior in the planning stage. An architectural model of a new building in a 1:500 scale is thus correctly visualized from the Perspective (visual), perspective of a pedestrian walking by in the street. An endoscope connected to a video camera allows for the creation of walkthroughs, allowing the architect to develop the first draft further, and the public to share and critique the architect's vision of proposed buildings and cities. Nomenclature In architecture, the rigid Endoscopy, endoscope is called a ''Relatoskop'' (German), ''relatoscop'' (French), borescope, etc. In this article, 'endoscope' is used as a generic term. History The endoscope was invented in 1806 by Philipp Bozzini, in medicine it was used to look inside the human body. In 1954, the Paris-based German architect, Martin Schulz van Treeck (van Treeck), was the first to use endoscopes for ...
