''Dziwneono'' (subfamily:Typhlocybinae) is a genus of Australian leafhoppers, with more than ten undescribed species. It's been described in 1972 by Polish entomologist Irena Dworakowska. The genus name is a biological nomenclature curiosity. "Dziwne ono" is Polish for "it is strange". Irena Dworakowska (born 1941) is a Polish entomologist who specialized in hemipterology. Career She was active at the Uniwersytet Warszawski, Museum and Institute of Zoology of Polish Academy of Sciences and University of British Columbia in Vancouver.1991 Annual Report.
