Dyna Music
Dyna Music Entertainment Corporation is a Filipino record label. It is one of the major record companies in the Philippines; in the 1960s, it was the country's largest licensee of foreign labels. The first independent record label in the Philippines, Dyna Music was founded as Dyna Products, Inc. by businessman James Go Dy in 1959. It is a member of the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI). Dyna Music also released video karaoke VCDs versions of the label's songs in the Philippines. It also became the first recording company in the country to produce and distribute a large catalogue of audiophile CD titles from the label's homegrown and foreign artists, using 24-bit, 192 kHz digitally remastered audio processing technology. Pinoy Pop
Pinoy pop (also known as Philippine pop; an abbreviated form of "Pinoy popular music" or "Philippine popular music"; or P-Pop) refers to popular music in the Philippines originating from the Original Pilipino music, OPM genre. With its beginnings in the late 1970s, Pinoy pop is a growing genre in the 2020s. Through the 1990s to the 2000s, Pinoy pop was regularly showcased in the live band scene. Island Records
Island Records is a multinational record label owned by Universal Music Group. It was founded in Jamaica by Chris Blackwell, Graeme Goodall, and Leslie Kong in 1959, and was eventually sold to PolyGram in 1989. Island and A&M Records, another label recently acquired by PolyGram, were both at the time the largest independent record labels in history, with Island having exerted a major influence on the progressive music scene in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s. Carmen Soriano (born July 6, 1940) is a Filipino actress and singer. Early life Soriano's father was Fernando Soriano. Soriano's mother was Luz Concepcion, an English teacher. Soriano is the eldest daughter and she is the 4th of six siblings. Career In 1957, Soriano won the beauty pageant and became Miss Manila. Soriano earned a trip to Hong Kong.
