	Dyer Island, Bermuda Bluck's Island (formerly Denslow sIsland, Dyer sIsland) is an island of Bermuda. It lies in the harbor of Hamilton in Warwick Parish. Previously known as Dyer's island, it was once owned by the Dyer family in the 19th century. Originally owned by Henry Thomas Dyer, son of Patrick O'dwyer. In the early 20th century the island was owned by illustrator William Wallace Denslow who built a house there and declared himself "King Denslow I, Monarch of Denslow Islands and Protector of Coral Reefs". 	Dyer Island (South Africa) The Dyer Island Nature Reserve Complex is a protected area off the coast of Gansbaai in the Western Cape, South Africa. It consists of 3 islets, namely Dyer Island, Geyser Island, and Quoin Rock that lies 25 kilometres away from Dyer Island, off the coast of Quoin Point Nature Reserve and Agulhas National Park. Combined, Dyer Island and Geyser Island are a designated Ramsar site. Dyer Island is the largest in the group of islands, and lies about offshore from Gansbaai and Danger Point Lighthouse. It is home to a declining colony of African penguins ( individuals in 2015). Geyser Island is a smaller island nearby and is home to around 60,000 brown fur seals. The main tourist attraction in Gansbaai since approximately 1995 has been cage diving with great white sharks. It is said that after Kruger National Park, the great white sharks attract some of the highest numbers of tourists to South Africa for any single activity.
