Durango (), officially named Estado Libre y Soberano de Durango ( en, Free and Sovereign State of Durango; Tepehuán: ''Korian''; Nahuatl: ''Tepēhuahcān''), is one of the 31 states which make up the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico, situated in the northwest of the country. With a population of 1,832,650, the 8th lowest of Mexico's states, Durango has Mexico's second-lowest population density, after Baja California Sur. The capital city, Victoria de Durango, is named after the first President of Mexico, Guadalupe Victoria. Durango is a hotel and casino in Rhodes Ranch, a community in the Las Vegas Valley. It is located along Durango Drive, beside the Las Vegas Beltway. The resort includes an casino, 209 rooms in a 15-story tower, and several restaurants. Station Casinos purchased the property from developer Jim Rhodes in 2000. Four years later, the company announced plans for a hotel-casino, known then as Durango Station. The 1,000-room project was met with opposition from area residents, who disagreed with its size and its proposed location near a new elementary school. The project was approved by the Clark County Commission despite the opposition, although Station did not plan to begin construction for several years. The company later announced plans to begin building a scaled-down version of Durango Station in 2009, with an opening in 2011. Durango Drive is a major north-south road in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, Nevada, United States, located on the west side of the city. Route Southern half Durango Drive's southern terminus is at an intersection with Starr Avenue in Enterprise. The M-505 Adams Brothers Probe 16 is a car, designed by former Marcos cars designers Dennis and Peter Adams, (Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England) in 1969 as 'an investigation into extremes of styling'. It is powered by a mid-mounted tuned Austin 1800 engine and is 34 inches (86 cm) in height. It has 10" wheels on the front and 13" wheels on the back. Entry is via a sliding glass roof. Only three were ever produced. The first - AB/2, license plate MJO 145H – was sold to American songwriter Jimmy Webb. The Ford Durango is a two-passenger coupe utility sold in limited production by Ford Motor Company between the 1979 and 1982 model years. The vehicle was the result of a joint venture between Ford and National Coach Works, located in Los Angeles, California. Durango Automotive SRL was an Italian auto racing team founded in 1980 by Ivone Pinton and Enrico Magro, which competed in Formula 3000, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the GP2 Series.
