''Time (magazine), Time'' said that "Peyroux has a bittersweet, brokenhearted alto; she lingers and slides off notes, finding emotion in the slow, sad fade rather than the obvious vocal burst." Dreamland (Robert Miles Album)
''Dreamland'' is the debut studio album by Robert Miles. It was released on 7 June 1996 to critical acclaim in Europe, where it was a hit, and was also released in the United States about a month later, with a new track sung by Maria Nayler, " One and One." This new track became very popular and was later released as a single in the US and Germany. At the end of 1996, Miles released a new version of ''Dreamland'', called ''Dreamland – The Winter Edition'', in Germany. It was largely similar to ''Dreamland'', but contains the tracks "For Us" and "One and One" (which was not released on the European version) and removes "Fable (Dream Version)", and was also released in Japan. Nowadays it appears that the US version of ''Dreamland'' including "One and One" (with "One and One" being the sixth track, coming after "In My Dreams" and before "Princess of Light") is the most popular and common version. After Robert Miles' death, the album was remastered to match the original track li ...

Dreamland (Glass Animals Album)
''Dreamland'' is the third studio album by English indie rock band Glass Animals. It was released on 7 August 2020, having been pushed back from its initial release date of 10 July 2020. ''Dreamland'' is the band's first album since ''How to Be a Human Being'' (2016) and was conceived in the aftermath of their drummer being involved in a near-fatal collision in July 2018. The album was written and produced almost entirely by frontman Dave Bayley and features heavily autobiographical lyrics, a radical difference from the band's previous work. It derives musical and lyrical inspiration from Bayley's childhood in Texas, particularly from the popular culture and media of 1990s and early 2000s America. The album has been described as being "drenched in" nostalgia and is structured around a series of interludes of audio from Bayley's childhood home videos. ''Dreamland'' was influenced by the R&B and hip hop music from the early 2000s, and features an appearance from American rapper De ...

Dreamland (Black Box Album)
''Dreamland'' is the debut studio album by the Italian music group Black Box. It was released on May 8, 1990 through RCA Records, and was preceded in 1989 by the international hit single " Ride on Time". The album was certified Gold in both the United States and the United Kingdom. It is noted for "Ride on Time" and the ensuing lawsuits by Loleatta Holloway and Martha Wash over their lack of proper credit and payment for their vocal contributions to the album. Background and artwork When the album was originally released, the credits listed the band members as Daniele Davoli, Mirko Limoni and Valerio Semplici (as the producers, songwriters and musicians), as well as Katrin Quinol on vocals. "Ride on Time" had been released as a single prior to the album's release, and singer-songwriter Dan Hartman and singer Loleatta Holloway had threatened to sue Black Box, as well as label RCA Records, claiming that the song contained heavy sampling of an earlier recording by the two (the 1980 nu ...

Dreamlands
The Dream Cycle is a series of short stories and novellas by author H. P. Lovecraft (1890–1937). Written between 1918 and 1932, they are about the "Dreamlands", a vast alternate dimension that can only be entered via dreams. The Dreamlands are described as lying deeper than space, matter and time, and are a "limitless vacua beyond all thought and entity". Description The Dreamlands are divided into four regions: * The West contains the ''Steps of Deeper Slumber'' (descended via the "Cavern of Flame") and the Enchanted Woods, by which many enter the Dreamlands. Other points of interest include the port of Dylath-Leen, one of the Dreamlands' largest cities; the town of Ulthar, "where no man may kill a cat"; the coastal jungle city of Hlanith; and the desert trading capital Illarnek. Here lies the fabled ''Land of Mnar'', whose gray stones are etched with signs and where rise the ruins of the great Sarnath. * The South, home of the isle of Oriab and the areas known as the Fant ...

The True Tale Of America's Opiate Epidemic
''The'' is a grammatical article in English, denoting nouns that are already or about to be mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. ''The'' is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with nouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers. Pronunciation In most dialects, "the" is pronounced as (with the voiced dental fricative followed by a schwa) when followed by a consonant sound, and as (homophone of the archaic pronoun ''thee'') ...
