Doug Chapman is a stunt coordinator, stunt performer and actor, a member of Stunts Canada, who works in film and television. Biography He graduated in 1994 from the California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Information and Communication Design in Media Arts. Career He has been a stunt double for Kurt Russell, Robert Englund and Christian Slater. He worked on TV shows from ''The X-Files'' to ''Smallville'', and films from ''I, Robot'' to ''300''. He has also performed stunts for many commercials, including precision driving for commercials for Honda and Chrysler. Notable acting roles include Sergeant Cole in ''Stargate Atlantis'' and Roy Chess in ''Watchmen''. He has continued to work in stunt coordination and stunt performer roles in top TV series and films to date. Doug Chapman (born August 22, 1977) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected in the third round of the 2000 NFL draft, 88th overall, by the Minnesota Vikings where he played from 2000 to 2003 and with the San Diego Chargers in 2004. He is currently serving as the director of player development and senior analyst at Marshall. College career Chapman attended Marshall University, where he rushed for over 4,000 yards and scored 61 total touchdowns. He was a member of the undefeated 1996 Marshall Thundering Herd football team that won the 1996 NCAA Division I-AA Football Championship Game and Mid-American Conference championship in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Doug Chapman (Australian Footballer)
Walter Douglas Chapman (1889-1975) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Richmond and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Born in Dromana to Henry George Chapman and Isobella Gibson, Doug Chapman joined Richmond from Dromana at the start of the 1908 VFL season. In 1910, he transferred to Essendon Association Football Club in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), and he was a member of their premiership winning team in 1912. Douglas Chapman (March 27, 1930 – January 27, 1985) was a Canadian ice hockey player with the East York Lyndhursts.
