''Donnellsmithia'' is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apiaceae. Its native range is Mexico to western Venezuela. It is found in the countries of Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and Venezuela. The genus name of ''Donnellsmithia'' is in honour of John Donnell Smith (1829–1928), an American biologist and taxonomist, it was published in Bot. Gaz. Vol.15 on page 15 in 1890.
