''Don't Leave Me in Love'' is an independently released studio album by American country music artist Dierks Bentley. It was released on June 3, 2001, and was self-funded and distributed through Dangling Rope Records and pre-dates his record deal with Capitol Records and his major label self-titled debut album by two years. As of 2025 Bentley has never re-released the album and also has not added it to any streaming platforms, and with Bentley covering the cost of the album's pressing at the time of its release, less than 5,000 copies were ever created, making the disc a sought-after collector’s item among Bentley fans. Dierks Bentley
Frederick Dierks Bentley (; born November 20, 1975) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Bentley moved to Nashville in the late 90s to pursue a career in music, leading up to his releasing the self-funded and independent album Don't Leave Me in Love in 2001. In 2003, he signed to Capitol Nashville and released his eponymous debut album. The Nashville Network, usually referred to as TNN, was an American country music-oriented cable television network. Programming included music videos, taped concerts, movies, game shows, syndicated programs, and numerous talk shows. On September 25, 2000, after an attempt to attract younger viewers failed, TNN's country music format was changed and the network was renamed The National Network, and eventually became Spike TV in 2003 and Paramount Network in 2018. Education and early career Beavers attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary education in 1985. Carl Eugene Jackson (born September 18, 1953) is an American country and bluegrass musician. Jackson's first Grammy was awarded in 1992 for his duet album with John Starling titled ''Spring Training''. In 2003, Jackson produced the Grammy Award-winning CD titled '' Livin', Lovin', Losin': Songs of the Louvin Brothers'' – a tribute to Ira and Charlie Louvin. Owens "Boomer" Castleman (July 18, 1945 – September 1, 2015) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Career as musician He was born and raised in Farmers Branch, Texas, United States. Castleman first started playing professionally at age 17 while a high school student in Dallas. He and a Ft. Worth teenager, John Deutschendorf, played on the folk circuit together, and Castleman was present at a club in Los Angeles when his friend agreed to change his name to John Denver. Ronald Delano McCoury, known as Ronnie McCoury, (born March 16, 1967) is an American mandolin player, singer, and songwriter. He is the son of bluegrass musician Del McCoury, and is best known for his work with the Del McCoury Band and the Travelin' McCourys. He was known for his work as a session pedal steel guitar player for various country music acts, most notably Vince Gill and Conway Twitty.
