Domènec Torrent
Domènec Torrent Font (born 14 July 1962) is a Spanish professional football manager and former player. He recently managed Turkish club Galatasaray. After playing and coaching at an amateur level, Torrent became an assistant to Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City. He then managed in his own right at New York City, Flamengo, and Galatasaray. Playing career Born in Santa Coloma de Farners, Girona, Catalonia, Torrent played as a midfielder. He joined UE Olot in 1980 from hometown side CE Farners; Olot paid for his transfer by arranging a friendly against his former club. He left Olot in 1983, and subsequently joined AD Guíxols, where he retired at the age of just 27 to become a coach. Josep "Pep" Guardiola Sala (; born 18 January 1971) is a Spanish professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of club Manchester City. He is considered one of the greatest managers of all time and holds the records for the most consecutive league games won in La Liga, the Bundesliga and the Premier League. Guardiola was a defensive midfielder who usually played in a deep-lying playmaker's role. He spent the majority of his career with Barcelona, forming a part of Johan Cruyff's ''Dream Team'' that won the club's first European Cup in 1992, and four successive Spanish league titles from 1991 to 1994. Josep María Nogués Salvatella (born 29 April 1959) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder, and a manager. Managerial career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Nogués has previously coached teams in the Tercera and Segunda División, which includes L'Hospitalet (1993–1995), Terrassa (1995–1996), Gimnàstic de Tarragona (1997–1999), Real Jaén (2002–2004), Girona (2005), Écija Balompié (2007–2008) and Betis reserve team, Real Betis B (2008–2009). Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. The Primera Catalana is the 6th tier of the Spanish football league system and the highest league in the autonomous community of Catalonia. The league was formed in 1991 to replace Regional Preferent as the first level of Catalonia and was split into 2 groups in 2011.
