Doen Met 'n Miljoen!
''Doen met 'n Miljoen!'' ( en, italic=yes, Do with a Million!) is the South African Afrikaans language-version of ''Deal or No Deal''. The show was premiered on 19 October 2007 on kykNET and hosted by Casper de Vries. There are 26 players, each holding a case. The one who wins the quiz round can play the game and win up to 1,000,000 South African rand, rand (about US$122,000) or down to 1 cent (about 0.12Cent (United States coin), ¢). The player selects a case, and the one holding it guesses which value from the remaining ones on board it contains, a small prize will be awarded if he/she is correct. ''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch ''Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money. After the player for the case game is determined, this contender claims (or is assigned) one case or a box at the start of the game, without its contents being revealed. The contestant then chooses the other cases or boxes, one at a time, to be immediately opened and removed from play.
