Doctor In Distress (film)
''Doctor in Distress'' is a 1963 British comedy film directed by Ralph Thomas and starring Dirk Bogarde, James Robertson Justice, and Samantha Eggar. It is the fifth of the seven films in the ''Doctor'' series. After a one-film absence, it was the final return to the role of Simon Sparrow by Dirk Bogarde, and also the return (although in a different role) of Donald Houston. The film uses some of the characters in Richard Gordon's ''Doctor'' novels, but is not based on any of them. Plot Simon Sparrow, now a senior doctor at Hampden Cross Hospital, falls in love with Delia, a model and aspiring actress. They eventually move in together, but then she goes to Italy to audition for a film. Meanwhile, Sir Lancelot Spratt injures his back in a fall. Placed under the care of physiotherapist Iris Marchant, he is initially hostile, but soon succumbs to her charms. He turns to his friend Simon for advice. A film poster is a poster used to promote and advertise a film primarily to persuade paying customers into a theater to see it. Maserati Sebring
The Maserati Sebring was a two-door 2+2 coupé manufactured by Maserati from 1962 until 1968. Based on the Maserati 3500, the Sebring was aimed at the American Gran Turismo market and named after Maserati's 1957 racing victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Joe Robinson (actor)
Joseph William Robinson Harle (31 May 1927 – 3 July 2017) was an English actor, martial artist, and professional wrestler. He was known during his wrestling career by the ring name "Tiger" Joe Robinson. Early life Robinson was born in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1927. He was the son of Joseph Spedding Robinson, sometimes called Jack Robinson, a Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling champion-turned-professional wrestler. His grandfather John was also a wrestler. In 1931, Robinson and his family moved to South Africa, where his father ran a gym. Robinson worked in his father's gym, and trained in catch wrestling and bodybuilding from a young age. Derek James Fowlds (2 September 1937 – 17 January 2020) was an English actor. Michael Flanders
Michael Henry Flanders (1 March 1922 – 14 April 1975) was an English actor, broadcaster, writer and performer of comic songs. He is best known for his stage partnership with Donald Swann. As a young man Flanders seemed to be heading for a successful acting career. However, he contracted polio in 1943 while serving in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve and for the rest of his life was reliant on a wheelchair.
