Dobropillia urban hromada () is a hromada of Ukraine, located in Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast. Its administrative center is the city Dobropillia. It has an area of and a population of 43,827, as of 2020. Donetsk Oblast
Donetsk Oblast, also referred to as Donechchyna (, ), is an Oblasts of Ukraine, oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is Ukraine's most populous province, with around 4.1 million residents. Pokrovsk Raion (; ) is a raion (district) within Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. Its administrative center is Pokrovsk. In Ukraine, a hromada () is the main type of municipality and the third level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, local self-government in Ukraine. The current hromadas were established by the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. A municipality is designated ''urban hromada'' if its administration is located in a city; ''settlement hromada'' if it is located in a settlement (''selyshche''), and ''rural hromada'' if it is located in a village (Village#Ukraine, ''selo'') or a ''selyshche''. Dobropillia
Dobropillia (, ; ) is a city in Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. Prior to 2020, it was a city of oblast significance and served as the administrative center of the former Dobropillia Raion, though it did not belong to the raion. It is located from Donetsk, the administrative center of the oblast. In 2022, 28 thousand people lived in Dobropillia, in 2024 - 26,700. History A local newspaper is published here since February 1935. During the Second World War, the settlement was occupied by Axis troops. City since 1953. In 1970, the population of the city was 30 thousand people, the basis of the economy was coal mining. Dobropillia was one of the first towns shelled by Russia using "Grad" MLRS on 13 June 2014, with one civilian killed.
