''Do or Die'' is a 2001 British Australian TV mini series that was broadcast in England in April 2001 and in Australia in July 2001. Plot Samantha returns to Australia to find her sick son's biological father. Lavinia Warner is a British television writer and producer. She created several successful TV series in the 1980s and 1990s, all of which featured women in the leading roles. Tom Long (3 August 1968 – 4 January 2020) was an Australian film and television actor. He played court official and avid surfer Angus in the late 1990s TV series ''SeaChange'' and Brenden Abbott in the 2003 Australian TV movie '' The Postcard Bandit''. Early life Long was born on 3 August 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts, as his Australian parents were visiting there at the time. On their return to Australia he grew up on a farm near Benalla, Victoria. The AACTA Award for Best Miniseries or Telefeature is an award that has been handed out to producers annually since 1986 by the Australian Film Institute (AFI), since 2011 the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA).
