DoCo (pop Group)
DoCo is a pop group composed of five female ''Ranma ½'' voice actresses. The performances are done in-character. DoCo has released three albums: ''DoCo★First'', ''DoCo☆Second'', and ''DoCo Original Karaoke''. Some of the songs were translated and performed in English by DoCo U.S.A., the corresponding English language voice actors. Some of their songs were used as the opening and ending themes for the ''Ranma ½'' OVA, as well as in music videos that accompanied the OVAs. A few songs (such as the DoCo version of CoCo's "Equal Romance") also appear on various ''Ranma ½'' musical albums. DoCo is in some sense a parody of CoCo. As "CoCo" can be taken to mean ここ (koko, here), "DoCo" can be taken to mean どこ (doko, where?). List Of Ranma ½ Episodes
is a Japanese anime series adapted from the manga of the same name by Rumiko Takahashi. It was created by Studio Deen and aired weekly between April 15, 1989, and September 16, 1989, on Fuji TV before being canceled after 18 episodes due to low ratings. Shortly after, the series was reworked by most of the same staff, retitled , and launched in a different time slot, running between October 20, 1989, and September 25, 1992, for 143 episodes. Three movies were produced, ''The Battle of Nekonron, China! A Battle to Defy the Rules!'' on November 2, 1991; ''Battle at Togenkyo! The ''Ranma ½'' manga series features a cast of characters created by Rumiko Takahashi. The story revolves around the Japanese teenage boy Ranma Saotome who has trained in martial arts since early childhood. As a result of an accident during a training journey in China, he is cursed to become a girl when splashed with cold water, while hot water changes him back into a boy. Throughout the series Ranma seeks out a way to rid his curse, while his friends, enemies and many fiancées constantly hinder and interfere. CoCo (band)
CoCo was a Japanese pop group which consisted of Mikiyo Ohno, Azusa Senou, Rieko Miura, Erika Haneda, and Maki Miyamae. History CoCo released their first single, "Equal Romance", on September 6, 1989. CoCo had a couple of their songs ("Equal Romance," "Omoide ga Ippai," and "Mou Nakanaide") as theme songs for the anime series '' Ranma ½''. Azusa left the group in 1992 and went solo, while the other four stayed behind. Rieko and Maki released solo works but chose to remain in the group. CoCo joined Ribbon, Qlair and a few solo idols for the "Otomejuku" concert. They performed Shochuu Omimai Moushiagemasu, among other songs. Their final single "You're My Treasure" was released before they disbanded on August 3, 1994.
