Nizhyn Raion
Nizhyn Raion () is a Raions of Ukraine, raion (district) of Chernihiv Oblast, northern Ukraine. Its administrative centre is located at Nizhyn. Population: On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Chernihiv Oblast was reduced to five, and the area of Nizhyn Raion was significantly expanded. In Ukraine, a hromada () is the main type of municipality and the third level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, local self-government in Ukraine. The current hromadas were established by the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. A municipality is designated ''urban hromada'' if its administration is located in a city; ''settlement hromada'' if it is located in a settlement (''selyshche''), and ''rural hromada'' if it is located in a village (Village#Ukraine, ''selo'') or a ''selyshche''. Chernihiv Oblast (), also referred to as Chernihivshchyna (), is an administrative divisions of Ukraine, oblast (province) in northern Ukraine. Dmytrivka, Chernihiv Oblast
Dmytrivka (, ) is a rural settlement in Nizhyn Raion, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Dmytrivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population is Dmytrivka is located at the right bank of the Romen River. History It was a settlement in the Konotopsky Uyezd of the Chernigov Governorate of the Russian Empire. During World War II it was occupied by Axis troops from September 14, 1941, until September 14, 1943. In 1943, the German military adminitration operated the Dulag 102 prisoner-of-war camp in the settlement. Dmytrivka obtained the status of urban-type settlement in 1958. In January 1989, the population was 3929. Until 18 July 2020, Dmytrivka belonged to Bakhmach Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Chernihiv Oblast to five.
