Diwan Of Travancore
The Diwan or Dewan of Travancore was the head of government of Travancore in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, serving at the pleasure of the Maharaja, corresponding to a prime minister, and consisting in the formal titles Valiya Sarvadhikaryakar and Dalawa until the insurrection of Velu Thampi Dalawa and administrative reforms of John Munro. Post-Munro, the title of ''Dalawa'', which remained formally the highest ranking established office, though administratively impotent, was revived as a sinecure to sideline Raman Menon and remove him from the Diwanship. The office of Diwan existed until 1948, when it gave way to the office of Prime Minister of Travancore. Prime Minister Of Hyderabad

In 1919, Asaf Jah VII ordered the formation of the Executive Council of Hyderabad, presided by Sir Sayyid Ali Imam, and with eight other members, each in charge of one or more departments. The President of the Executive Council would also be the Prime Minister of Hyderabad. The position was abolished in 1948 when Indian Army invaded the Hyderabad State and merged it with the Union of India. Muhammad Habibullah
Khan Bahadur Sir Muhammad Habibullah KCSI KCIE (22 September 1869 – 16 May 1948) was an Indian politician and administrator who served as the Diwan of Travancore from 1934 to 1936. Personal life Habibullah was born in Madras (now Chennai) to Aushukh Hussain Khan Saheb on 22 September 1869. He was a member of the Arcot royal family and closely related to the Nawabs of Arcot. He studied law at Zila High School in Saidapet and joined the bar at Vellore in July 1888. He was married to Sadathunissa Begum. Early political career Habibullah was involved in local commerce politics and was elected honorary chairman of the Vellore municipality in 1895. He resigned from his legal practice upon being elected official secretary in September 1901, and served in that role until September 1905. Sir Thomas Austin, KCIE (20 July 1887 – 27 June 1976) was a British civil servant of the Indian civil service and administrator who served as the Diwan of Travancore from 1932 to 1934. Early life Thomas Austin was born in 1887 to a British clergyman, Rev. T. Austin. He was educated at Plymouth College and Jesus College, Cambridge. Indian civil service Thomas Austin entered the Indian Civil Service in 1910 and served in various junior positions before being appointed District Collector of Nilgiris in 1929. He served as Collector of Nilgiris from 1929 to 1932 when he was appointed the Diwan of Travancore on a two-year contract.
