Divine Inspiration (RuPaul's Drag Race)
"Divine Inspiration" is the ninth episode of the RuPaul's Drag Race (season 7), seventh season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race''. Directed by Nick Murray, the episode originally aired on April 27, 2015. Demi Lovato and John Waters are guest judges. Lucian Piane and Our Lady J also make guest appearances, helping the contestants during rehearsals. The episode's main challenge has the contestants perform musical versions of scenes from two films by Waters: ''Pink Flamingos'' (1972) and ''Female Trouble'' (1974). ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' is an American reality competition television series, the first in the Drag Race (franchise), ''Drag Race'' franchise, produced by World of Wonder (company), World of Wonder for Logo TV (season 1–8), WOW Presents Plus, VH1 (season 9–14) and, beginning with the fifteenth season, MTV. The show documents RuPaul in the search for "America's next drag queen, drag superstar". RuPaul plays the role of host, mentor, and head judge for this series, as contestants are given different challenges each week. Reuben Asberry Jr. (born September 9, 1980), known professionally as Kennedy Davenport, is a drag queen, television personality, and dancer from Dallas, Texas, who came to international attention on the seventh season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', placing fourth overall, the third season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars'', where she was the runner-up, and the second season of '' Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs. the World''. The fifth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' began airing on January 28, 2013, with a 90-minute premiere episode, and ended on May 6 of the same year.
