Disappearance Of Tanja Groen
Tanja Afra Maria Groen (born June 23, 1975) is a Dutch teenage girl who disappeared near Maastricht in the summer of 1993. Groen came from Schagen and was just about to start studying health sciences. Groen has been missing ever since. Disappearance Tanja Afra Maria Groen disappeared in the night of Tuesday 31 August to Wednesday 1 September 1993, after she had left a hazing party at the Circumflex student society in the centre of Maastricht by bicycle to her room in Gronsveld. She never arrived there. The weekend after her disappearance she was supposed to go to her parents in Schagen. Criminal investigation Despite a thorough and lengthy search for Groen's disappearance, nothing was found for years and therefore nothing was known about her fate. Gronsveld
Gronsveld () is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is part of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten and situated southeast of the municipality of Maastricht, to which it is bordering. Gronsveld was a separate municipality until 1982, when it was merged with Eijsden. The municipality also included Rijckholt, Eckelrade, Heugem (now part of Maastricht) and Honthem. Marc Paul Alain Dutroux (; born 6 November 1956) is a Belgian convicted serial killer, serial rape, serial rapist, and child sexual abuse, child molester. Initially convicted for the child abduction, abduction and rape of five young girls in 1989, Dutroux was released on parole after just three years' imprisonment.
