The disappearance of Simon Cheng refers to the incident in which Simon Cheng, an employee of :zh:英國駐香港總領事館, the British Consulate General in Hong Kong, was Administrative detention, administratively detained by the Mainland China, Chinese mainland police at Hong Kong West Kowloon station, the Hong Kong West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station on August 8, 2019, and claimed to have been Enforced disappearance, forced to disappear. Bao'an District () is one of the nine districts comprising the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong province. It is one of the districts formerly lying outside the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.
