Dip In The Pool (band)
Dip in the Pool is a Japanese pop duo consisting of Miyako Koda (voices) and Tatsuji Kimura (keyboards), who have made eight albums. Their UK album ''Silence'' was released through Rough Trade Records in 1986. Their track "Izmir" is the ending music of the PlayStation game, ''Omega Boost''. Koda is also an actress and has appeared in "Fanshî dansu" (Fancy Dance, 1989), "Hakuchi" (1999), and "Kanaria" (2005). Rough Trade Records
Rough Trade Records is an independent record label based in London, England. It was formed in 1976 by Geoff Travis who had opened a record store off Ladbroke Grove. Having successfully promoted and sold records by punk rock and early post-punk and indie pop bands such as the Normal and Desperate Bicycles, Travis began to manage acts and distribute bands such as Scritti Politti and began the label, which was informed by left-wing politics and structured as a co-operative. Soon after, Rough Trade also set up a distribution arm that serviced independent retail outlets across Britain, a network that became known as the Cartel. In 1983, Rough Trade signed the Smiths. Interest and investment of major labels in the UK indie scene in the late 1980s, as well as overtrading on behalf of Rough Trade's distribution wing, led to cash flow problems, and eventually to bankruptcy, forcing the label into receivership. Omega Boost
is a three dimensional shoot 'em up developed by Polyphony Digital and Cyberhead for the PlayStation. It was released in 1999 throughout Japan, North America, and Europe by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony Computer Entertainment. The game features mecha designs by Shoji Kawamori of ''Macross'' fame. Being released late in the PlayStation's life, ''Omega Boost'' is said to have some of the best graphics on the console with parts of the game running at 60 Frames per second, frame/s. The game was criticized by some reviewers for being too short (Nine levels with nine unlockable special missions) and simplistic. However, it is still considered one of the best ''Macross''-style mecha simulation games produced and is thought of by many as a sleeper hit due to its poor marketing. East West Records (stylized as east''west'') is a record label formed in 1955, distributed and owned by Warner Music Group, headquartered in London, England. History Upon its creation in 1955 by Atlantic Records, the label had one hit with the Kingsmen's "Week End" and went into hibernation until 1990, when Atlantic revamped the imprint as EastWest Records America. Epic Records
Epic Records is an American record label owned by Sony Music Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America, the North American division of Japanese conglomerate Sony.
