Dig (Dig Album)
''Dig'' is the debut studio album by alternative rock band Dig (band), Dig, released in 1993. It was initially released by the independent label Wasteland Records in the summer of 1993, but a few months later the band was signed to the major label Radioactive Records, who reissued the album that same year. The album contains the band's highest charting and most recognizable song, "Believe". Background Dig was formed in 1991 by vocalist and guitarist Scott Hackwith and drummer Anthony Smedile. Shortly after, they completed the lineup with Phil Friedmann on bass, Johnny Cornwell on guitar, and Jon Morris on guitar and backing vocals. The band initially released a demo EP titled ''Runt'' on Wasteland Records. After the release of ''Runt'', Dig teamed up with producer Dave Jerden to record their full-length album. Dig is an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1991, they achieved success with their 1993 album ''Dig'', which featured the charting single "Believe". The band then released the album ''Defenders of the Universe'' in 1996 to lesser success. It was followed by their third album ''Life Like'' in 1999, in which they then disbanded that same year. Airheads
''Airheads'' is a 1994 American comedy film written by Rich Wilkes, directed by Michael Lehmann, and starring Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Ernie Hudson, Michael McKean, Judd Nelson, Michael Richards, Amy Locane and Joe Mantegna. Fearless (Pink Floyd Song)
"Fearless" is the third track on the 1971 album ''Meddle'' by Pink Floyd. It is a slow acoustic guitar-driven song written by Roger Waters and David Gilmour, and includes audio of football fans singing "You'll Never Walk Alone". It was also released as the B-side of the single along with " One of These Days", and was praised by critics as one of the better songs from ''Meddle''. Recording The song's slow tempo and mellow acoustic sound bear similarities to some of the other tracks on the first side of the album. Roger Waters performed the acoustic guitar parts using an open tuning in G major, taught to Waters by former member Syd Barrett. Near the beginning and at the end of the song, a field recording of fans in Liverpool's Kop singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" is superimposed over the music. Mark Radcliffe (radio Broadcaster)
Mark Radcliffe (born 29 June 1958) is an English radio broadcaster, musician and writer. He is best known for his broadcasting work for the BBC, for which he has worked in various roles since the 1980s. Radcliffe began his broadcasting career in local commercial radio in Manchester before a move to the national station BBC Radio 5, where he met and formed a partnership with Marc Riley, a former guitarist with the Fall. In 1991 he moved to BBC Radio 1, closely followed by Riley with whom, under the moniker Mark and Lard, he worked for 11 years on the station. Rollins Band was an American rock band formed in Van Nuys, California. The band was active from 1987 to 2006 and was led by former Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins. They are best known for the songs " Low Self Opinion" and "Liar", which both earned heavy airplay on MTV in the early-mid 1990s.
