Dienstag Aus Licht
(Tuesday from Light) is an opera by Karlheinz Stockhausen in a greeting and two acts, with a farewell, and was the fourth of seven to be completed for the opera cycle ''Licht, Licht: Die sieben Tage der Woche'' (Light: The Seven Days of the Week). It was begun in 1977 and completed from 1988 to 1991, to a libretto by the composer. History is an opera for 17 solo performers (three singers, 10 instrumentalists, 4 dancer-mimes), actors, mimes, choir, orchestra, and electronic music. Tuesday is the red day of conflict between Michael (archangel), Michael and Lucifer. As was the case for most of the operas in the ''Licht'' cycle, component sections of were commissioned and composed separately, and given seriatim premieres. Karlheinz Stockhausen (; 22 August 1928 – 5 December 2007) was a German composer, widely acknowledged by critics as one of the most important but also controversial composers of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Simon Stockhausen (born 5 June 1967) is a German composer. His parents are the artist Mary Bauermeister and the composer Karlheinz Stockhausen; the musician Markus Stockhausen is his half-brother. Henryk Tomaszewski (mime)
Henryk Tomaszewski aka Heinrich Karl Koenig (20 November 1919 – 23 September 2001) was a Polish mime artist and theatre director. Biography Tomaszewski was born in Poznań, Poland. He settled in Kraków in 1945 to study theatre after the end of World War II during which he studied at Iwo Gall's Theatre Studio from 1945 to 1947 and ballet under Feliks Parnell. Tomaszewski left Parnell's company in 1949 and resettled in Wrocław, where he worked as a ballet dancer in the Opera and already there began to develop his own concept of mime. In 1956, Tomaszewski's Mime Studio had its premiere performance at the Polski Theatre in Wrocław. In 1958, the Mime Studio was renamed the Wroclaw Mime Theatre and was granted the status of State theatre in 1959. The ''Klavierstücke'' (German for "Piano Pieces") constitute a series of nineteen compositions by German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. Stockhausen has said the ''Klavierstücke'' "are my ''drawings''". Originating as a set of four small pieces composed between February and June 1952, Stockhausen later formulated a plan for a large cycle of 21 ''Klavierstücke'', in sets of 4 + 6 + 1 + 5 + 3 + 2 pieces.
