''Did It for the Party'' is the sixth studio album by American country music duo Big & Rich. It was released on September 15, 2017 via Big & Rich Records/Thirty Tigers. The album's lead single is "California". Content Group member John Rich told ''Billboard'' that "there’s some 80s Country on there, and also some Eagles west-coast Country kind of stuff. It’s also a really fun song to sing. When the fans learn it, they sing it at the top of their lungs." Lead single "California" was originally recorded by Tim McGraw on his album ''Damn Country Music'', and his version features Big & Rich on backing vocals. Big & Rich is an American country music duo composed of Big Kenny and John Rich, both of whom are songwriters, vocalists, and guitarists. Before the duo's foundation, Rich was bass guitarist in the country band Lonestar, while Kenny was a solo artist for Hollywood Records. Their first studio album, '' Horse of a Different Color'', was released in 2004. This album produced four straight Top 40 country hits, including the number 11 " Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", plus collaborations with Cowboy Troy, Gretchen Wilson, and Martina McBride. Mark Nesler (born January 5, 1961 in Beaumont, Texas) is an American country music artist. The Isaacs
The Isaacs are a bluegrass Southern gospel music group consisting of mother Lily Isaacs (b. September 20, 1947), daughters Becky (b. Aug. 2, 1975) and Sonya Isaacs (b. July 22, 1974) and son Ben Isaacs (b. July 25, 1972), along with John Bowman (husband of Becky Isaacs) as an instrumentalist and songwriter. Joe Isaacs, formerly a singer and banjo player in the group, has left since his 1998 divorce from Lily Isaacs. He now does solo work on a far more localized level. Former Kingsmen Quartet bass player, lead singer and baritone Tim Surrett was a member of group from 1997 until 2002. Surrett was married to Sonya Isaacs during this time period.
