Suresh Ramchandra Dhas (born 1969) is an Indian politician from Maharashtra. He is a four-time member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He is one time member of Maharashtra Legislative Council From 2018 to 2024. He won as an MLA for the fourth time winning the 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election representing the Bharatiya Janata Party from Ashti Assembly constituency, the Ashti Assembly constituency in Beed District. Sachin Sanjay Dhas (born 3 February 2005) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right handed batsman and right arm off break bowler. He made his first class debut for Maharashtra cricket team in the Ranji Trophy in February 2024. Early life Born to Surekha and Sanjay Dhas, he comes from Beed district in Maharashtra. Dheena Chandra Dhas (born in Madras (now Chennai), India, on 1 August 1956) is an actor, singer, voice over artist and sound engineer. He is the youngest of 4 brothers and the younger brother of the well-known 70s musician Madhukar C. Dhas. He lives in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, India, and does Voice Overs in his home-studio. Bishop Jerome Dhas Varuvel, SDB, was born 21 October 1951 in Paduvoor in the diocese of Kottar. He attended Carmel Secondary School in Nagercoil. From 1967 to 1968 he followed the pre-university course at the Scott Christian College, Nagercoil. From 1968 to 1970 he attended the minor seminary at St. Aloysius Seminary in Nagercoil. He studied philosophy at Sacred Heart Seminary in Poonamallee (1970-1973). He also obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics from Arulanandar College, Karumathur, Madurai (1973-1976). In 1976 he decided to join the Salesians of Don Bosco. After completing the pre-novitiate (1976-1977) and novitiate (1977-1978), he made his religious profession temporary 24 May 1978.
