Devin Terran Williams (born September 21, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Milwaukee Brewers. His nickname is The Airbender. Internationally, Williams represents the United States. Williams made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Brewers and was named the National League's Rookie of the Year and Reliever of the Year in 2020. He was an MLB All-Star in 2022 and 2023. Following the 2024 season, the Brewers traded him to the Yankees. Devin Jamar Williams (born May 31, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Changwon LG Sakers of the Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia). He played college basketball at West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball, West Virginia. High school career Williams first attended Withrow High School in his hometown of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio. As a sophomore in 2010–11, he averaged 13.0 points and 10.6 rebounds per game for the school's basketball team. As a junior at Withrow in 2011–12, he averaged 15.2 points and 10.5 rebounds per game and earned All-Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference First Team honors. Devon Chesterton "Speedy" Williams (born 8 April 1992) is a Jamaican professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for USL Championship club Lexington SC and the Jamaica national team. Lavender Diamond is an American, Los Angeles-based band, fronted by singer Becky Stark. History While living in Providence, Rhode Island, Stark began performing as Lavender Diamond in a play that she and puppeteer Xander Marro wrote, created and toured with called ''Birdsongs of the Bauharoque'' inspired by the work of artist Paul Laffoley. A self-produced CD of Stark's songs accompanied the tour in a hand-sewn, silkscreened sleeve. Lavender Diamond became a duo and eventually a four-piece band after Stark relocated to Los Angeles. With the help of local patrons Brian Kaneda and Josh Scuteri, Lavender Diamond self-released a four-song EP and performed at L.A.'s ArthurFest, at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, and at the CMJ New Music Seminar in New York City. In 2006 Lavender Diamond signed to Rough Trade Records in Europe, and Matador Records in the U.S., and toured and performed with The Decemberists for three weeks.
