Gabriel the Devil Hunter is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character has appeared as an exorcist in several of Marvel's occult titles. A female version of the character named Gabriella Rosetti appeared in live action in the Hulu television series '' Helstrom'', played by Ariana Guerra. Publication history Gabriel first appeared in ''Haunt of Horror #2'' (July 1974), and was created by Doug Moench and Billy Graham. Devil Hunter (film)
''Devil Hunter'' (also known as ''The Man Hunter'', ''Mandingo Manhunter'', ''Jungfrau unter Kannibalen'' and ''Sexo Caníbal'') is a 1980 splatter film directed by Jesús Franco under the pseudonym "Clifford Brown" and written by Franco and Julián Esteban (under the pseudonym Julius Valery). It was shot back-to-back with Franco's ''Mondo Cannibale'' (also 1980). It is one of the infamous "video nasties" that were banned in the United Kingdom in the 1980s. Lina Romay was credited with co-directing this film, while Franco's first wife Nicole Guettard edited it. This shows that Franco was still with Guettard as late as 1980 (eventually they broke up and she was replaced in Franco's life by Romay). Pierre Chevalier was the art director on this film. Release The film was released on 5 December 1980 in West Germany as ''Jungfrau unter Kannibalen'', and in Spain as ''Sexo Canibal''. ''Devil Hunters'' is a 1989 Hong Kong action film written and directed by Tony Lo and starring Alex Man, Sibelle Hu, Moon Lee and Ray Lui. The film was released as ''Ultra Force 2'' in the west as a sequel to the film, ''Killer Angels'' which was released a few months earlier as ''Ultra Force''. Although both films were directed by Lo and starred Lee, ''Devil Hunters'' is unrelated to ''Killer Angels''. Plot At the Happy Dragon Recreation Park, Hong Kong's two notorious drug lords, Hon San (Wong Wai) and Chai Yan (Lau Siu-ming) leads their respective group of underlings carry out a huge drug trade. Devil Hunter Yohko
is a Japanese original video animation series created by Madhouse, produced by Toho, and released in North America by ADV Films as their first release. The series was first released on December 1, 1990 and ended on July 1, 1995. It is about a sixteen-year-old girl named Yohko Mano, voiced by Aya Hisakawa, who banishes demons from the Earth. An English dubbed version of the series was also released. The six-episode series was adapted into several video games by Masaya. Plot For centuries, the Mano family has been slaying demons. Yohko's grandmother, Madoka, is the 107th Devil Hunter, and Yohko's mother, Sayoko, would have been the 108th, but for a small hitch: A Devil Hunter must be a virgin to take on the power and responsibility. Sayoko became pregnant before Madoka could reveal the family's secrets, and so the job fell to Yohko.
