Sveriges Television AB ("Sweden's Television Stock Company"), shortened to SVT (), is the Swedish national public television broadcaster, funded by a public service tax on personal income set by the Riksdag (national parliament). Arne Hegerfors
Olof ''Arne'' Hegerfors (born 4 July 1942) is a Swedish sports journalist and television presenter. He is mostly known as a sports commentator at SVT and Canal Plus between 1969 until 2011. He was awarded the Stora Journalistpriset (The great journalist award) in 1992. Hegerfors had a promising athletic career in football and had a contract offer from a French football club, OGC Nice. But after a serious knee injury he could not play anymore and moved on to a journalistic career. When Lars-Gunnar Björklund started a sports department at SVT (known as Sveriges Radio-TV until 1979) in Gothenburg and recruited Hegerfors. In 2000 Hegerfors appeared in Markoolio's music video for his song "Mera mål", where he acted as himself. He has also presented entertainments shows for SVT, like "Kryzz" and " Det kommer mera". Martin Timell
Carl Martin Timell (born 13 November 1957 in Östermalm) is a Swedish television presenter. He started his career as a television host on SVT in the 1980s, hosting several entertainment and children's programs. In 1996, he moved to TV4 where he worked as one of the channel's main profiles, as a host for multiple television programs. He is best known for hosting ''Äntligen hemma'', one of the most successful and long-running Swedish Do it yourself-shows, since 1997. In October 2017, all of Timell's shows on TV4 were cancelled after the hashtag #MeToo had been used by a few women to point out Timell's sexual and mental abuse of them. He was also suspended from TV4. On 6 March 2018, he was formally charged with rape for having performed digital penetration on a woman against her will whilst having a bath in a hot tub.
