The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW; ) is the Executive Departments of the Philippines, executive department of the Politics of the Philippines, Philippine government responsible for the protection of the rights and promotion of the welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and their families. The department was created under the Department of Migrant Workers Act (Republic Act No. 11641) that was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte on December 30, 2021. Franklin Magtunao Drilon (; born November 28, 1945) is a Filipino lawyer and former politician. He has served thrice as president of the Senate: in 2000, from 2001 to 2006, and from 2013 to 2016.
