Deogarh (Lok Sabha Constituency)
Deogarh was a Lok Sabha constituency in Orissa state in eastern India till 2008. Assembly constituencies which constituted this parliamentary constituency were: Pallahara, Talcher, Brajarajnagar, Jharsuguda, Laikera, Kuchinda and Deogarh. After 2008, some of the constituencies went into Bargarh and some into Dhenkanal. Debagarh District
Debagarh District also known as Deogarh District is a district of Odisha state, India. Located in the north-western part of the state, it is one of Odisha's 30 administrative districts and has its headquarters at Debagarh (Deogarh) town. The district covers an area of 2781.66 km² and has a population of 312,520 (2011 Census). As of 2011, it is the least populous district of Odisha (out of 30). Dharmendra Pradhan
Dharmendra Pradhan (born 26 June 1969) is an Indian politician who has served as the Minister of Education since his appointment in July 2021. He has previously held the portfolios of Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (2017–2021), Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas (2014–2021), and Minister of Steel (2019–2021). He graduated from the Talcher Autonomous College and Utkal University. He has been serving as a Cabinet Minister since 3 September 2017. Sriballav Panigrahi
Sriballav Panigrahi (2 September 1940 – 9 July 2015) was an Indian politician, a leader of the Indian National Congress party in Odisha and was a member of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). He was elected to the Parliament of India from the Deogarh Lok Sabha constituency, three times, 1984, 1991 and 1996. Biography Born at Bargaon, Sambalpur district, Odisha in 1940, he was elected as a Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from the Deogarh Parliamentary Constituency in 1984, 1991, and 1996, and was a Member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly for two terms (1971 & 1974). He was a Cabinet Minister in Odisha from 1973 to 1977. Personal life He was married to Sunanda Panigrahi and had two sons. He died in 2015, aged 74.
