Dale Denno
Dale J. Denno (May 1, 1950 – April 16, 2019) was an American politician who served in the Maine House of Representatives. He was also the assistant attorney general of Maine. Early life Denno was born on 1 May 1950 in California and raised in New York. He graduated from Syracuse University and Cornell Law School. Career Denno worked for Unum for sixteen years, followed by a stint as assistant attorney general of Maine. He served on the SAD 51 School Board from 1991 to 1997 and was the chair of the school board in 1995 and 1996. Denno later became an instructor at Saint Joseph's College of Maine and manager of the Preble Street Soup Kitchen. He retired from the directorship of the Office for Family Independence within the Maine Department of Health and Human Services in 2013. Deborah Denno
Deborah West Denno (born June 6, 1952) is an American legal scholar and criminologist who studies the intersection of biology, neuroscience, and criminal law. She is the Arthur A. McGivney Professor of Law at the Fordham University School of Law, where she is also the founding director of the Neuroscience and Law Center. In 2007, she was named one of the fifty most influential women lawyers in the United States by the ''National Law Journal''. She is known for her writings on the constitutionality of certain methods of capital punishment, such as lethal injection. A 2006 article in ''the Washington Post'' described her as "a leading expert on executions in the United States." Robert F. Denno (1945–2008) was an influential insect ecologist. He published more than 130 research papers that helped advance the study of plant–insect interactions, interspecific competition, predator prey interactions and food web dynamics. He studied the ecology of sap-feeding insects, both in natural and cultivated settings. His study of wing polymorphism expanded into the fields of life history evolution (e.g., Denno and Dingle 1981), plant and herbivore interactions (e.g., Denno and McClure 1983), community ecology (e.g., Denno et al. 1996), and many aspects of predator ecology, reviewed recently in Denno et al. is a Japanese mecha anime series produced by Nihon Ad Systems and animated by Radix, in conjunction with toy maker Takara. () is the 38th episode of the ''Pokémon'' anime's first season. During its sole broadcast in Japan on December 16, 1997, a scene with flashing lights induced photosensitive epileptic seizures in children across the country. Over 600 children were taken to hospitals. The incident is referred to in Japan as the . The episode was written by Junki Takegami and directed by Kiyotaka Itani, and was broadcast on TV Tokyo. In the episode, Ash and his friends find that there is something wrong with the Poké Ball transmitting device at the local Pokémon Center. To find out what is wrong, they must go inside the machine. Towards the end of the episode, Pikachu stops a wave of missiles with an attack, resulting in an explosion that is depicted by rapid flashing lights that fill the screen. is a 1998 Japanese anime television series created by Tsukasa Kotobuki and Satoru Akahori. It aired from April 4, 1998, to September 26, 1998, on TBS and ran for 26 episodes. It was released in the United States by ADV Films and was also broadcast on international networks such as Anime Network (United States), AXN Asia (Singapore, Philippines and Thailand), Locomotion (Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Spain and Brazil).
