''Demons'' was the first major EP released by From Her Eyes on 25 August 2014. Production Demons was the first major EP released by From Her Eyes on 25 August 2014. After recording a demo EP in early 2013 from initial live songs, From Her Eyes were unsatisfied with their released material. Wanting to progress more towards melodic metalcore sound and shy away from clean vocals, the band released ex-Rhythm Guitarist Indigo Lani Lewis-Jones who was present with their demo. This was also the first release with Jesse Simmonds, who replaced ex-bassist and founding member Luke Williams in late 2013. With From Her Eyes being big fans of the work of Devil Sold His Soul and The Elijah, the band decided to enlist Jonny Renshaw to record, produce and mix the record, feeling he could capture the new melodic sound they were searching for. From Her Eyes
From Her Eyes was a metalcore band formed in Bridgend, Wales. The band formed in May 2012, and disbanded in February 2016. History After originating from various local bands, the group was constructed by Tomas Morgan, James Kearle and ex-bassist Luke Williams in June 2012. The band recruited Indigo Lani Lewis-Jones and Gary Holley to add much needed talent to the line-up. From Her Eyes quickly gained a small following in the local area, and dedicated more time into the project. From Her Eyes released a demo EP entitled ''No Place Like Home'' in late June 2013. After the release, Luke Williams subsequently announced his departure from From Her Eyes in mid-July. Luke was replaced later with Jesse Simmonds, In the following months, From Her Eyes continued to perform regularly whilst beginning to write new material. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming.
