Demolition (Dungeon Album)
''Demolition'' was the first album by Australian heavy metal band Dungeon. It featured mainly demo-quality tracks, four of which had been remixed from a previous demo with added bass lines from Justin Sayers and a cover of Blondie's "Call Me". Virgil Donati plays drums on the instrumental track "Changing Moods". This album was only released in Japan and has never been made available anywhere else. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a Music genre, genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Resurrection (Dungeon Album)
''Resurrection'' is the second album from Australian heavy metal band – Dungeon. Recording was fraught with difficulties including a brief period when first Sayers, then Grose – both left and then rejoined the group. The low budget available resulted in poor sound quality; nonetheless Dungeon was courted by Century Media before deciding to have the album released by Warhead Records. It was released in October 1999, as the final release from that label. In 2005, the album was completely re-recorded and released worldwide. The 2005 version featured Lord Tim (vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass), Steve Moore (drums, vocals) and Stu Marshall (guitar, vocals). The group existed from 1989 to 2005, released six full-length albums, and toured heavily both throughout Australia and internationally. Virgil Donati
Virgil Donati (born 22 October 1958) is an Australian drummer, composer and producer. He holds the drum sticks in the traditional style and is also proficient at the keyboard. Donati formed Planet X with Derek Sherinian and was the band's principal composer on all their albums. He also performed in Melbourne with Jack Jones (Irwin Thomas) in a Van Halen tribute band known as Hans Valen before inviting Jones into Donati's own bands The State and Southern Sons. The Final Chapter (Dungeon Album)
''The Final Chapter'' is the sixth and final album by Australian heavy metal band Dungeon. It was released in October 2006 by Modern Invasion Music. The group played its last live performance on 11 December 2005, however singer-guitarist Lord Tim and drummer Tim Yatras announced that they would record a final album under the name Dungeon. The Australian version also contains re-recorded versions of two very early Dungeon tracks, "Don't Leave Me" and "Changing Moods". Timothy Ian Grose (born 2 April 1970), known professionally as Lord Tim, is an Australian musician. Formerly based in Wollongong, New South Wales, he is best known as the founder of the power metal band Dungeon. The band started in 1989, released several albums, and was considered one of the leading metal bands in Australia. When the band broke up in 2005 after an international tour with Megadeth, Lord Tim continued its legacy with another band he had created, LORD, for which he was singer, guitarist and principal songwriter. On 17 February 2025, the band announced that they had disbanded back in 2023 after becoming aware of a legal matter.
