Bartolomeo Della Rocca
Bartolomeo della Rocca, also known as Cocles (March 19, 1467 – September 9, 1504) was a scholar of chiromancy, physiognomy, astrology, and geomancy who lived in Bologna, Italy during the rule of the House of Bentivoglio from 1323 to 1506. In the months which preceded April, 1498, he participated (with others) in the preparation of a list of predictions relating to the life expectancies of different personalities for Giovanni Bentivoglio, dictator of Bologna and father of his boss Alessandro Bentivoglio. The work of Bartolomeo della Rocca was promoted by the Italian philosopher Alessandro Achillini. His main work, ''Chiromantie ac physionomie anastasis'' was published in 1504 then the ''Compendio of Fisiognomica'' ("Compendium of Physiognomics"), was published after his death, in 1553 in Strasbourg. Enrico Morozzo Della Rocca
Enrico Morozzo Della Rocca (Turin, 20 June 1807 – Luserna San Giovanni, 12 August 1897) was an Italian general, noble and politician, noted for his military service during the Risorgimento. Life Born from Carlo, Earl of Morozzo, Marquis of Brianzè and Lord of San Genuario, and Gabriella Asinari di Gresy, Enrico was the heir of one of the most prominent and noble Piedmontese families. He entered the Royal Military Academy of Turin in 1816, and graduated in 1824. His career was brilliant, if not particularly quick, and in 1848 he was promoted to colonel. During the First War of Italian Independence, he served as Chief of Staff of the Reserve Division, led by Crown Prince Vittorio Emanuele, beginning a close friendship with the future King; having distinguished himself at Goito, he was decorated with the Silver Medal of Military Valor. Francesco Della Rocca (born 14 September 1987) is an Italian former footballer who played as a central midfielder. Club career Bologna A Bologna youth product, he spent the early years of his professional career on loan to minor league clubs before playing his first full Serie A season in 2010–11. Palermo On 23 August 2011, he signed a new five-year contract with Bologna, but left the club only a week later to join Palermo in a co-ownership bid, for €3.5 million. Jason Della Rocca (born 1974) is the former executive director of the Montreal chapter of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA): Della Rocca supervised the daily operations, outreach initiatives, and membership programs of the organization from September 2000 to March 2009. After leaving the IGDA following his 9-year involvement with the company, Della Rocca founded Perimeter Partners, a consultancy that provides strategic level guidance and expertise to companies and organizations in, and around, the game industry globally.
